New mix posted in the Music section, maybe the second-to-last under the Ultraverse moniker. While we'll still post mixes, it feels like it's time to move on to other projects, maybe more production-oriented. Maybe also some video footage coming your way...
In the meantime, to provide more timely news, we've incorporated our Twitter feed to the right.
Our Pandora station (see below) is becoming more refined in its parameters, so tune in if you can.
The photo on the homepage is a view of Disney Concert Hall in Downtown Los Angeles last July 4.

Since the last post, maestro Gil Scott-Heron passed away. RIP and Respect.
We were fortunate to attend an intimate evening at the Grammy Museum in our old neighborhood in Downtown Los Angeles featuring another maestro and all-around bass hero, Bootsy Collins, who rocked the house and provided some words of wisdom. The museum has now posted some excerpts of the evening, so be sure to check them all out.
Same place, different night, we were privileged to share an evening with Booker T Jones. Excerpts also posted on museum website.
Current homepage photo is one we took of Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee in the Fall of 2007. Photos change often, so come back to check 'em out. Previous photo was of the Hollywood sign in the Hollywood Hills one Spring day last year.
Also, we're on Twitter and have a radio station on Pandora now, so get busy!

Our thoughts and prayers are with all our friends in Japan right now. The homepage photo is a shot of Sengaku-ji in Tokyo, the temple where the 47 Ronin are buried. A tribute to the spirit of Japan.

Went to a Shepard Fairey lecture last night at the Downtown LA library. Fascinating views on art and commerce as propaganda. Mixed impressions of his current art.
Added my "On-Off" mix to the Music section. Others are in the pipeline.

Another week adding to the site and polishing the look. As you can see, the front page image will change periodically and I'll look into rotating images in the future. In the meantime, some new mixes are online in the Music section and you can download them free. If you're using Firefox, you'll have to right-click on the Download button and Save Link As... to your computer. Other browsers should download with the button without any difficulties. Some of the back catalogue added includes: Pearls of Wisdom, Downtown Sounds, Chemistry-Action and Chemistry-Reaction. Enjoy!

True to our word, despite a bit of a bumpy start getting all the web files running properly, there are now three mixes in the Music section for you to enjoy. We're starting with the most recent and working our way back. For the moment, you'll find "Gravity" and "Man Made", which are both 2010 mixes with songs just plucked from the ether and strung together. They're more free-form and less technical, in an effort to let the music speak for itself. "Life Lines" from 2009 is a more of a subtle electronic blend, jumping between styles and techniques. Very minimal fuss, maximum tunes. Have fun and respect the artists by picking up a CD or vinyl.
